ABSTRACT: Markdown is a popular text editing format popularized by John Gruber. It allows a writer to use plain text to get a reasonable text formatting. Thus, it allows us to write content in a normal text editor (such as Microsoft Word, Apple Notes, Notepad, Notepad++ etc.) and then get this content converted to a multitude of formats (.docx, .html etc).

Starting today, Wordmogul Markdown support is available. The Markdown rendered that we’ve picked is fast and extensible, and we envision making it more tuned to our use cases.

Markdown, as used by Wordmogul, will enable us to generate various output formats, and thus more features for our devoted user community!
